TOKO INC. was founded on 9th August 1955 as Toko Radio Coil Laboratory at Oota Ward, Tokyo. Its main business is manufacture and sales of electronic components for radio set makers. At that time, Japan was the biggest producer for transistor radio and our coils have contributed a lot to the development of this industry.

Since then, global electronic industries of stereo, AV products, telecommunication, CTV have flourished and we have become the biggest supplier of IFT coils. On the other hand , we have developed ceramic filters, modules, semiconductors, switching supply, VAST systems and electro-mechanical parts. We have become a big components maker for consumer and industrial products manufacturers with factories, sales offices and R&D centers all over the world.

We have changed our name to Toko Incorporated from 1964 and publicly listed in Tokyo Stock Exchange Market from 1970.
